Job title: Deputy Manager – Sheet Metal Prototype Part development

Job description: Key responsibilities :-
- Development/scheduling/sourcing of Sheet metal Prototype parts
- Ensuring quality of Sheet metal parts & assy under development
- Inspection and buyoff of Prototype parts.
- Techno commercial assessment of supplier proposals.
- Ordering & procurement of Raw material/Prototype parts.
- Management of logistics for Raw material & Parts.
- Budget Planning and payment to suppliers
Competencies :-
- Sound understanding of Sheet metal Stamping & welding operations
- Must have knowledge of Sheet metal raw material used in automotive application
- Part development and ECN management
- CAD skill
- Basic knowledge of 3D printing and other Proto mfg techniques
- Good communication skill, interaction with internal customer and suppliers
- Project management, execution, and monitoring skill
- Knowhow of High Tensile Steel component Manufacturing
- Knowledge of secondary operation like Welding, laser cutting, painting and plating
Educational Qualification :-
- B.E. /B TECH (Mechanical Engg)
- 4-5 yrs Experience in automobile sheet metal parts manufacturing/ development (Proto experience- preferred)
